Technology CDR-Computed Digital Radiography Dr. Bhagat uses the Schick Technologies CDR system for x-rays. This is a computerized imaging system that uses an electronic sensor instead of conventional x-ray film. These sensors produce sharp and clear x-rays that appear instantly on a computer monitor. This is more efficient than regular x-rays and also lets Dr. Bhagat help patients understand their treatment better. In addition, CDR produces 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays. An endoscope is a mixture of a microscope and a video camera. It is composed of a lighted tube attached to a processor, which then relays the image onto a video monitor. Each of these runs Windows 98 and is on a high-speed 100Mbps 3Com network. Our accounts and radiographic records are stored on these computers for fast and efficient service
