Technology CDR-Computed Digital Radiography to the left-a screenshot of the CDR program. Dr. Bhagat uses the Schick Technologies CDR system for x-rays. This is a computerized imaging system that uses an electronic sensor instead of conventional x-ray film. These sensors produce sharp and clear x-rays that appear instantly on a computer monitor. This is more efficient than regular x-rays and also lets Dr. Bhagat help patients understand their treatment better. In addition, CDR produces 90% less radiation than conventional x-rays. For more information about Computed Digital Radiography, stop by the office or visit Schick Technologies. Endoscope Dr. Bhagat uses an endoscope for surgical cases. An endoscope is a mixture of a microscope and a video camera. It is composed of a lighted tube attached to a processor, which then relays the image onto a video monitor. Dr. Bhagat's setup also allows him to also print images for records and study. i-glasses To the left: i-glasses on a dental patient Get bored during your root canal treatment? Let's face it, spending three hours in a dental chair staring at the celing isn't most people's idea of fun. That's why in Dr. Bhagat's Endodontics office, in addition to entertaining the patient with Dr. Bhagat's Elvis impressions (Which aren't so great...), we impliment the i-O Display Systems i-glasses. These glasses simulate looking at an 80" screen 11 feet away. So you can watch a movie, watch the news, or even see how your surgery is being done-in real time! Its light, too-only 8 ounces-so you wont feel like you have a bowling ball on your head! For more info, visit i-O Display Systems. Computers In Dr. Bhagat's office, we use only the highest quality machines. We currently have six Dell computers running the top of the line Intel processors. Each of these runs Windows 98 and is on a high-speed 100Mbps 3Com network. Our accounts and radiographic records are stored on these computers for fast and efficient service
